The Battle of Aspern Essling 
22nd May 1809 which Archduke Charles of Austria delivered a rare defeat to Napoleon causing him to retreat across the Danube

Cuirassiers under the Impetuous General Espagne charging The Austrians at Aspern Essling. Espagne and many of his soldiers died in the charge.
